Queen Elizabeth II has died

In an announcement, Buckingham Palace said: “The Queen passed away peacefully on the shores of Balmoral in the afternoon of this day.

“The King and the Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”

The children of the Queen travelled to Balmoral close to Aberdeen following the placement of her under supervision.

In Buckingham Palace in London, crowds of people waiting for updates on Queen’s health began crying when they heard about her passing.

Her name was Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, in Mayfair, London, on 21 April 1926.
