fortunately, I had bent down in time to see one tiny paw. go back up into the engine of the car. i don’t know if she was trying to lead me to the others.

So much as she couldn’t get up herself. when i opened the hood, I saw all four kittens. their first reaction was kind of shrink together as a little bundle.

After 30 minutes when I first brought them in, I took them Down to the basement because they had a ton of fleas all over them. I have not seen a mom cat around.

I’ve kept my eye out just because she could be hanging around expecting to find them or trying to feed them. The vet told me the kittens were 6 to 8 weeks old.
